While Sankt Hans Sunday (St- John’s Eve) is celebrated in Denmark with bonfires and songs, it will again be possible to see the F-16 fighter plane painted with the colours of the Danish flag (Dannebrog), over parts of the country ! The aircraft will take off from the Fighter Wing Skrydstrup on Sunday 23th of June at 18:00. You should be able to see in Nykøbing’s sky at 18:16 !

According to the Armed Forces it is a good opportunity to be seen on social media. The aircraft was recently painted in red and white to celebrate the 800 years of the Dannebrog.
